Buckingham Palace-
From my childhood, I have always been fascinated and enchanted by the stories of queens and kings. Whenever I hear the name England the first thing that comes to my mind was queen and palace. This fascination has led me to choose travelling as a profession. I have been to many wonderlands. So this time I decided to choose Buckingham Palace as a place of my visit. I always wanted to be there but never get a chance. This time I booked my tickets and flew to London to see the palace in reality. I booked company cab when I landed at Southend airport . I really love their service as the driver was on time and the cab fare was enough to pay and it was good for the travellers for me, who are always in search of cheap and good quality service. The driver drop me at a hotel which I booked for me to stay for a week. The next day I again booked company cab and reached Buckingham Palace.
In Buckingham Palace, the Queen resides. The Queen's primary residence and official residence in London is Buckingham Palace. Since 1837, it has served as the monarchy of Great Britain's official home in London. The first head of state to reside there was Queen Victoria. The Duke of York, the Earl and Countess of Wessex, and their daughter all reside in London at Buckingham Palace in addition to the Queen and Prince Philip. Additionally, Buckingham Palace is utilised for monarchy administration. Her Majesty hosts visitors who have been invited to the Palace here in the state apartments. When the Queen is at home, the flagpole above Buckingham Palace will be flying the royal ensign. The Royal Standard is the name of this flag.
Four quadrants divide the flag into halves. The first and fourth quadrants, which stand in for England, have three gold lions strolling (passant) on a red field; the second, which stands in for Scotland, has a red lion rampant on a gold plain; and the third, which stands in for Ireland, has the gold Coat of Arms of Ireland on a blue field. The daily ceremonial of the Changing of the Guard in the forecourt of Buckingham Palace is a well-known sight. Since 1660, the Household Troops have been in charge of protecting the monarch and the royal palaces. When I reached at Palace it was happening and it feels good to see that.
There are approximately 600 rooms in the Palace, including, 52 royal and guest bedrooms, 78 bathrooms, 19 Staterooms, 92 offices, a cinema, and a swimming pool. It also has its own police station and post office. Domestic servants, chefs, footmen, cleaners, plumbers, gardeners, chauffeurs, electricians, and two people who look after the 300 clocks are among the 400 people who work at the Palace. From [alace I walk through Green Park to House Guard Prade. There were many soldiers on horses. I can now see the palace in reality including a number of red uniformed soldiers.
